National Cargo Bureau, the New York based cargo inspection company and Exis Technologies, global leaders in IT solutions for shipping dangerous goods by sea are pleased to announce that they have joined the International Cargo Handling Coordination Association (ICHCA) under a group corporate membership. Exis Technologies, which has been part of the NCB Group since April 2018, had previously been an individual member of ICHCA for over 10 years.

Preparations for bauma CHINA 2020, which takes place from November 24 to 27 in Shanghai, are in full swing. On 28 October, the European Parliament Transport and Tourism Committee (TRAN) will discuss the draft own-initiative report on technical and operational measures for more efficient and cleaner maritime transport. The aim of MEP Karima Delli, Chair of the TRAN committee and rapporteur for this file, is to propose a roadmap at EU level that sets out specific technical (design) and operational measures to limit emissions from the maritime sector.
