Singapore, Tuesday 17th November 2020: Global project heavy lift carrier AAL Shipping (AAL) has recently delivered 22,400cbm of stacker reclaimer components from Dalian in North East China to Port Hedland in Western Australia. The cargo, destined for the Fortescue Metals Group’s Eliwana Mine and Rail Project in the Pilbara, was loaded on the 19,000dwt heavy lift mpv, AAL Fremantle (S-Class). Months of meticulous engineering planning were made significantly more difficult due to newly implemented COVID-19 restrictions in Dalian. Despite these challenges, the cargo was loaded safely, and schedule integrity maintained.

Another great collaboration between XLP members, Voltrans Logistics Co., Ltd and Global Airfreight Int’l Pte Ltd, where they facilitated the shipment of a used telescopic crane (1993) through Saigon Premier Container Terminal (SPCT) from Singapore. The dimension of the crane was 14 x 3.3 x 3.19 m and weighed 55.8 tons. The scope of work included import customs, specialized registration and inspection, and inland haulage. We congratulate them on a job well done!

BATI Innovative Logistics has shipped a Multicat from Turkey to Canada. The loading took place in Marmaris, Turkey from the water. The dimensions of the Multicat was 26 x 11 x 12 and it was 240 tons. This 240 ton Multicat was then loaded and secured on board. The vessel has sailed to Marystown, Canada. BATI has hit another home run with this shipment.
