This week, the annual general meeting was held in Copenhagen Malmö Port, CMP, where the profit for 2017 was established. 2017 was a good year for CMP. Turnover increased from SEK 812 million to SEK 839 million. Freight volumes ended up at about the same level as in 2016. At the same time the cruise segment again broke records and made a substantial contribution to the increased turnover. All in all, operating income improved by SEK 35 million at SEK 78 million.

The 50th LNG reloading operation took place at the Klaipėdos LNG terminal in Lithuania last week. 140,000 cubic meters of LNG was delivered by Arctic Voyager from a liquefaction plant in Norway.

Crude oil exports from the Middle East dropped by 4.69 million bbl w-o-w to 127.92 million bbl. The drop in volumes came on the back of reduced exports from Iran, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, with Iran registering the steepest weekly fall amongst Middle-Eastern exporters. Condensate exports from the region were assessed at 5.49 million bbl, split between Iran and Qatar, up from 3.53 million bbl exported during the previous week.
