Kazakhstan to Mexico — Sofil Logistics Ltd is currently managing the transportation of project trailers for Sarens from Kazakhstan to Mexico, navigating severe weather disruptions that temporarily halted road and sea operations during the initial phase of the shipment.
Loading of the trailers was completed at the end of last year; however, extreme winter weather conditions in Kazakhstan led to road closures, preventing drivers from proceeding as planned. As a result, the trailers remained at the port of Kuryk for approximately 20 days.
During this period, the Caspian Sea experienced severe storms and strong winds, causing repeated cancellations of ferry services. Despite these challenges, Sofil Logistics maintained close coordination with local authorities and maritime operators to secure the next available sailing window.
The trailers are now en route to the port of Zeebrugge, Belgium, where they will be prepared for onward shipment to Mexico. The operation underscores Sofil Logistics’ experience in managing complex project cargo movements under unpredictable environmental conditions.
