Leading trade event for cruise interiors makes its first appearance in Germany
Registration is now open for the Hamburg debut of CSI Design Expo Europe, taking place on 3–4 December 2025 at Hamburg Messe und Congress (HMC). This international event brings together the entire cruise interiors supply chain – from shipyards and design studios to outfitters and specialist suppliers. The event is organised by Elite Exhibitions in association with Hamburg Messe und Congress.
Following its relocation from London to Hamburg, the established trade show is setting sail for its new home port. As the host of SMM – the leading international maritime trade fair and Seatrade Europe – Cruise & River Cruise Convention, Hamburg is already a key hub of the global maritime industry. The launch of CSI Design Expo Europe further strengthens this position.
Over 300 exhibitors – including 120 first-time participants
The event and its conference programme will focus on the key challenges and innovations shaping Europe's cruise interiors sector – from sustainability to refurbishment and design trends. More than 300 exhibitors will present the latest products, materials, and solutions for the interior outfitting of ocean, river and expedition cruise vessels. Over 120 companies will make their CSI debut in Hamburg, bringing new energy and innovation to the show floor.
Expert-led conference programme tackles industry priorities
Curated in collaboration with NEWH, the conference will explore how to unlock efficiencies across the shipbuilding process, how to deliver best-in-class guest experiences aboard smaller European vessels, and how the industry is meeting rising expectations in terms of quality and sustainability.
Networking highlights and the Cruise Ship Interiors Awards
Alongside the exhibition and conference, attendees can look forward to popular networking events including the Opening Party and CSI After Hours. On the evening of the second show day, the spotlight will turn to the Cruise Ship Interiors Awards, celebrating outstanding creativity and innovation in the cruise design community – now for the first time in Hamburg.
Hotel expertise meets cruise interiors
One of the standout features of this year's edition is Hospitality@CSI – a dedicated zone exploring the intersection of hospitality and cruise design. Through engaging panel discussions and a Lunch & Learn format, the programme will highlight how hotel brands translate their guest experience expertise into onboard concepts. Exhibitors include the Cimbali Group, ADA Cosmetics, and Bentley Europe, among others.
Strong demand ahead of the show
"The strong interest we're seeing in the run-up to the event confirms that Hamburg is the right place for this forward-looking industry gathering," says Claus Ulrich Selbach, Vice President Exhibitions at Hamburg Messe und Congress. "With CSI Design Expo Europe, we are creating a new platform for the cruise interiors community – right in the heart of a thriving maritime ecosystem."
