With explosive demand and new backing from G2 Venture Partners, SoftBank Vision Fund 2, and Aglaé Ventures, Cast cements its position as the creator and leader of Application Performance Automation and the go-to platform for scaling cloud infrastructure

Miami – April 30, 2025 – Cast AI, the leading Kubernetes automation platform, announced today that it has closed a $108 million Series C round led by G2 Venture Partners and SoftBank Vision Fund 2, with participation from Aglaé Ventures—the venture investment company of Bernard Arnault, the chairman and CEO of LVMH—joining alongside existing partners Hedosophia, Cota Capital, Vintage Investment Partners, Creandum, and Uncorrelated Ventures. The oversubscribed round drew participation from top-tier investors that previously backed AI leaders OpenAI and Crusoe, with a substantial valuation step-up driven by Cast’s rapid revenue growth and increased product demand.

Cast AI started by redefining Kubernetes automation—now it is transforming the entire cloud operations landscape. By introducing Application Performance Automation (APA), Cast goes beyond observability, turning performance signals into real-time, automated actions that optimize cost, security, and speed across any cloud.

Cast’s relentless innovation has fueled significant growth across all geographies, industries, and segments, with the company doubling its customer base between 2023 and 2024. Today, Cast is trusted by over 2,100 organizations, including Akamai, BMW, FICO, HuggingFace, NielsenIQ, and Swisscom. Cast also expanded its global presence by opening its India and Singapore offices and was named an IDC Innovator and G2 Cloud Cost Management leader.

According to the Cast 2025 Kubernetes Cost Benchmark Report, only 10% of CPUs and 23% of memory are utilized. Complex, manual capacity planning leaves most resources idle, precisely the problem APA eliminates. These findings underscore the tremendous opportunity ahead of the company. Cast will use its latest round of funding to expand its APA platform’s capabilities, grow its global footprint, and deliver even greater value to customers.
