Baku, 25 November 2024 – Silk Way Alat Free Economic Zone Company (SW AFEZCO) has signed a landmark design and build agreement with Modern Construction Group, marking a key milestone in the development of the Silk Way Cargo Village. This state-of-the-art project will be located within the Alat Free Economic Zone (AFEZ), an initiative that emphasizes Azerbaijan’s commitment to becoming a global hub for logistics and cargo services.

Modern Construction Group will design and construct three key facilities that will form part of the Silk Way Cargo Village: a cargo terminal, the Silk Way office building, and a shared freight forwarder facility.
