Memorable Caspian Air Cargo Summit 2023 hosted delegates from more than 40 countries across the world in Baku

On October 23-25, Silk Way West Airlines, the leading cargo airline in the Caspian and Central Asian region, hosted this year’s edition of the Caspian Air Cargo Summit at the JW Marriott Absheron Hotel Baku. The summit is the largest and most comprehensive aviation event in the region, bringing distinguished participants from around the world to the Caspian Sea.

During the two-day conference, current trends, challenges, and opportunities in the airfreight sector were discussed and innovative solutions for the future were explored. Representatives from key players in the global air cargo industry such as Boeing, Airbus, Embraer, TIACA, Turkish Airlines, Rolls-Royce, GE Aerospace, ACL Airshop, Alibaba Group, Kales Group, Dnata, Hactl and others shared valuable information and updates on the future cargo aircraft and next-generation engines, and discussed sustainability and innovation in logistics and supply chains, highlighting the growing role of e-commerce in logistics and air cargo.  

One of the most memorable moments of the event was the gala dinner, held in the most exquisite venue of the city, the Gulustan Palace. Guests enjoyed unforgettable musical performances, which provided a vivid display of the rich cultural heritage of Azerbaijan.
