How to make the world greener with the improvements of the existing resources’ usage? This is the question that keeps rising through the current oil and gas industry discussions. To sort out the best solutions, the LNG value chain representatives will gather at the 7th International LNG Congress. The Congress will take place on the 7-8 of June 2021.

There are LNG cases and concepts which could become the answers to 'how to make the planet cleaner' question. For the o&g industry representatives, who are in the front line of the industry, reaching the IMO’s 2050 decarbonisation goals is one of the direct responsibilities. For the last decades, the question of reducing air pollution remains relevant for the industry, and the developing projects point out that the demand will remain the same.

The potential effect of LNG infrastructure redefinition and improvement and ways of the Bio - LNG usage as the green power of the industry will be among the topics of the 7th International LNG Congress. The solutions to be discussed at this session are intended to influence the future LNG industry projects for the next decade. Five cases from the LNG chain companies will be presented at the session:

  • Advantages of contact ring reciprocating piston compressors in LNG BOG applications by NEUMAN & ESSER Italia S.r.l.;
  • BioLNG in Italy: case studies and next developments by CIB;
  • The environmental impact of Bio-LNG by Schmack Biogas;
  • Green hydrogen as fuel for mobility by Tractebel Engineering S.A.;
