AntwerpXL will bring breakbulk professionals from all over the world a two-day digital festival set to support and explore the future of the industry. The digital festival will provide the industry with a range of networking opportunities and live debate on 21 and 22 September.

The Festival, which kicks off in a matter of weeks, will comprise a series of online roundtables, networking groups and hosted meetings, supported by AntwerpXL’s AI-driven ‘Connect 2.0’ platform. The new platform will provide attendees with a range of meeting options and provide the industry with a much-needed opportunity to meet, forge partnerships and ultimately, do business.

The Festival will also offer a wide range of free-to-attend roundtable meetings, with topics to include, but not limited to; Renewables - A growing sector, Hinterland connections - Cargo flows and intermodal connections, Delivering client-focussed logistics, Incoterms 2020 - contracts and customs and also cyber security. The Festival will also host NextGen working groups and Innovation pitches from a range of marine start-up companies.

Mark Rimmer, Antwerp XL Divisional Director, comments: “We know that meeting and networking are absolutely vital to the industry and the No.1 reason the global community attends AntwerpXL. With our new Connect 2.0 platform, attendees will still be able to connect and source from a wide range of leading breakbulk and project cargo exhibitors, identify opportunities for partnership and joint ventures, whilst also exploring new areas for expansion, just in a digital way.”

“We’re also looking forward to switching our roundtable format online, we believe this will give attendees further opportunity to network and connect virtually. We are incredibly happy to provide such a new and innovative experience, full of value, to the global breakbulk community. The opportunity to learn, debate and connect online will allow attendees to reap much of the benefits provided by a live event.”
