Beauty becomes full of meaning, when you have somebody to share it with.
Oh…how much I would like to invite all my friends scattered over the wide world- to see them all in Klaipeda on the Sea Festival days.
May be they won't find here the kind of entertainment large mega cities have, but, I know, they would surely grasp the unique spirit of our harbour city and the region.
The Baltic waves are every time different - wild, raging or calm, reflecting the moon like a mirror.
Gusty winds, the rain out of the blue coming down the torrents, clouds hanging along the ground.
Silent curves of the river Nemunas hidden between green woods.
The Lithuanian Venice of Minge village engraved by water strings.
Moderate Lithuanians, during the Sea Festival running merry riots near festive tables.
Wreaths lowered to the sea for the memory of those who remained there forever.
Huge tankers emerging in the horizon from the mist.
Sailboards scattered on the beach in Smiltyne, playing music right there and the people turned their faces towards the sun.
Streets full of curious people moving to artisans' fair.
Sailing vessel Meridianas accepting guests in the Dane river.
The odour of fresh grass and cool dew.
I see my Klaipeda like that.

See you there,
Milda
