Lithuanian marine business candidates
to the nominations Anatolijus 2001

The following companies are recommended for nominations of the
Grand-Prix Anatolijus, First, Second and Third Grade Anatolijus:

  • KSSC Bega - for the largest investments into development of the port.
  • Klaipeda Stevedoring Company (Klasco) - for introduction of new ideas and technologies.
  • LKAB Klaipedos Smelte - for its resolution and will striving for introduction of new investment plans.
  • Kursiu linija UAB Arijus ir partneriai - for establishment of a national company.UAB Baltijos grupe - for a new image.
  • AB Laivite - for seeking for new solutions.
  • Consortium Klaipedos terminalas - for firm steps forward to leading positions.
  • AB Klaipedos kartonas - for reviving the oldest Klaipeda company.
  • AB Klaipedos hidrotechnika - for shocking rates of its activities.

of Fourth Grade Anatolijus:

  • Gediminas Pilaitis (a correspondent of the independent daily paper Lietuvos rytas).
  • Vidmantas Matutis (a correspondent of Klaipeda district and city¦s daily Klaipeda).
  • Mindaugas Milinis (an editor assistant of Klaipeda area newspaper Vakaru ekspresas).
  • Jelena Listopad (a correspondent of Klaipeda district and city¦s daily Klaipeda).
  • Dalia Bikauskaite (a correspondent of Klaipeda area newspaper Vakaru ekspresas).
  • Vida Borteliene (a correspondent of daily paper Lietuvos zinios).
  • Zydrunas Naujokas (a correspondent of the radio station Laluna).
  • Edgaras Valeckas (a correspondent of Lithuanian business daily paper Verslo zinios).

The following candidates are recommended for the nomination
of Personal Anatolijus:

  • Vaclov Stankevic (LR Seym member) - for great contribution in improvement of the marine laws.
  • Aloyzas Kuzmarskis (UAB Bega General Director) - for the imagine of XXI century manager.
  • Bronislovas Lubys (AB Klaipedos juru kroviniu kompanija President) - for persistance in realising unpopular ideas.
  • Evaldas Rutkauskas (UAB Jungtin ekspedicija Manager) - for professional.
  • Ignas Ruginis (Chairman of the Union of Small Shareholders of Lithuanian Shipping Company) v for quixotic fight for the survival of the national fleet.
  • Roma Juskiene (UAB Techmaris Director) - for female invasion into men¦s business.
  • Valentinas Greiciunas (LR Seym member) - for sports achievements in jumps in height.
  • Martinas Gusiatinas (AB Klaipedos Smelte General Director) - for an invaluable experience to start from scratch.
  • Vytautas Paulauskas (a professor of Klaipeda University) - for giving a sense to the activities of the ports in his scientific works.

The following companies are recommended for the nomination
of Consolidation Anatolijus:

  • AB Mazeikiu nafta Butinges terminal - for sleeping at the pipe.
  • AB Klaipedos laivu remontas - for creating of problems.
  • AB Lifosa and UAB Transfosa - for an effect of a balloon: an investment project, which caused a lot of noise, but shrank silently at Klaipeda port.
  • AB Smiltynes perkela - for a trial to realise the principle - cross the Curonian Spit free of charge.
  • AB Vakaru laivu remontas - for the endless process of privatisation.  

 

Anatolijus – 2001 laureates

The Grand Anatolijus prize was granted to stevedoring company Bega for the biggest investments into development of the port.
1st Degree Anatolijus - for professionalism - was granted to the company Limarko engaged in shipping and ship agents work under the leadership of seafarer Vytautas Lygnugaris.
2nd Degree Anatolijus - for implementation of new ideas and modern technologies - was granted to Klaipeda Stevedoring Company (KLASCO) now managed by director general Eduardas Plauska who was working as vice-president of the company earlier, under the management of Bronislovas Lubys.
3rd Degree Anatolijus - for firm steps towards leadership - was given to the consortium Klaipedos Terminalas, for several years successfully managed by Sigitas Dobilinskas.
Member of the Seimas of Lithuania Vaclovas Stankevicius was recognized as the most prominent personality in marine business in 2001 and granted Personal Anatolijus for his outstanding contribution to the enhancement of marine law.
The 4th nomination founded for journalists, the representatives of the ¦fourth power¦, for the most professional publication on marine business was granted to Edgaras Valeckas, reporter of the daily Verslo Zinios.
The Consolation Anatolijus 2001 was granted to Klaipedos Laivu Remontas for permanent generation of problems.
